Our Story
The Headwaters Haus has been collecting stories for over 30 years. It started with two friends who understood, perhaps better than most, that the best places in the world are the ones that feel like they were made for you. We fell in love with this cabin the same way they did, and when the time came to carry it forward, we did so carefully, renovating the space with the kind of reverence that a place like this deserves.
What you'll find here is a retreat that asks very little of you, except that you stay awhile. Fish the river. Wander into town. Cook something good and eat it slowly. Let the San Juans remind you what quiet actually sounds like.
